What are we learning about?
Study Skills: We are prepping for the SBA state test in March. We are practicing a growth mindset and general test-taking strategies.
Reading: Students now have 25 to 30 minutes of reading stamina. We are currently working on Author's Purpose, Main Idea, Finding Evidence, Answering and Asking Questions and Wonders. When reading at home be sure to ask those higher level questions. How did the character change in the book? Why did they change? Look back at the text and find some powerful, descriptive words. Explain what they mean. Why is ____ a good title for the book?
Writing:We are finishing up a poetry unit and will launch our unit about Fairy Tales next week.
Math:We are learning about Operations and Algebraic Thinking. Below is a list of our Learning Targets.
Social Studies: We are just beginning our Pioneer Unit. Our Essential Questions are:
