November 17th - Author Visit: Lois Brandt, author of Maddi's Fridge
November 19th - Author visit & workshop: Professor Katherine Schlick-Noe, author of Something to Hold. This is a wonderful book we are about to finish in our classroom. It is Narrative Realistic Fiction. I have been using this read-a-long as a reference while the students have been writing their realistic fiction stories! Ask your children about this!
November 21st - Spirit Day! Apple Cup Day...Are you a Husky or a Cougar?
November 26th - Report Cards go home
November 27th-28th: Thanksgiving Holiday ~ No School
December 3rd & 4th - Student Led Conferences...please bring your student! Remember, no school on these 2 days except to come to your conference. :)
