New Procedure for Volunteers
New this year, all volunteers must complete an online application. If you have students at different schools in Issaquah, you only need to fill this out once and will be asked to mark which schools you want to volunteer at. Click the link, https://issaquahvolunteers.hrmplus.net to apply to volunteer.
HELP REQUESTED: We are still working out the kinks in some of the biggest transitions: Drop Off and Pick Up. To help us have a safe and efficient transition and to be good neighbors (we pretty much take over the roads!) Please consider the following:
Don’t drop off your child in a traffic lane! Stopping in the road to let your child out is illegal, a safety concern and causes further delays in traffic. Please park or use our drop-off area in the parking lot.
Avoid picking your child up early in the last 10-15 minutes of the day. If you come after 3:25 (1:15 on Wednesdays) to pick up your child, we will ask if it is an emergency. If it is not we will ask that you pick up your child through our normal processes at 3:40. We can call the class and ask the student to come to car pick-up and you can meet them there. Please know that this reduces confusion on the part of staff and students so we can help all students be safe and understand exactly where to go.
Playfield and play structure is closed in the morning. Please don’t allow your child or little sister / brother play on the playground in the morning. We want to keep a simple, focused plan for getting to class with no distractions.
No Dogs on the Property 24/7. By district and school policy, we are a pet-free zone. This is for the safety and health (lot’s of allergies on campus) reasons. Even after hours we ask our families and neighbors to not bring Fido to school.
Thank you for your support!
