Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and music. It was created in Brazil mainly by descendants of African slaves with Brazilian native influences probably beginning in the 16th century. It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed, and leverage for leg sweeps. Here is a glimpse of our students learning from the International Capeira Angola Foundation

Welcome to the !mpact Connect site!
!mpact provides a fun and engaging place right on campus for middle school students to go after school. This Issaquah School District program combines tutoring & homework time, enrichment classes, and recreation to create a unique and exciting after school opportunity. !mpact is a great place for students to create new relationships and explore new skills, all while having fun! Please see our calendar for specific enrichment classes and for an example of our daily schedule.

Did you know !mpact is a great place for students to work on homework? We call it Homework Lab, offered daily for 55 minutes! With internet ready computers, and a quiet study zone, students can access class assignments and stay current on class projects. With the incredible staff to student ratios and High School volunteers from Issaquah and Skyline, students receive plenty of tutoring and mentoring support.
Pick any 2 days/week $90 per month
Pick any 3 days/week $135 per month
All 5 days/week $225 per month
Membership Fee is $100 for the school year, includes all monthly field trips & transportation/Special Events with quality supervision to ensure your child is making appropriate decisions and having fun!
