Dear Apollo families,
We have had a fantastic first week for all of our students. The returning students did not miss a beat and our newest students are quickly learning the expectations of their new school. Awesome job Rockets! The staff and I are anticipating a terrific year ahead!
I want to take this opportunity to review the drop-off and pick- up practices for Apollo, in efforts to keep all students safe:
While not every morning/afternoon is perfect in the drop -off/pick-up lot, due to various circumstances, I would like to personally thank you in advance for your willingness to keep students safe and help this process run as smoothly as possible!
It takes a great deal of effort to create a great start to school each year and I would like to give a “BIG THANK YOU” to our teachers, custodians, office staff, and PTA for having everything ready to roll for the start of the 2018-2019 school.
We all look forward to seeing you at Curriculum Nights later in the month. Please note curriculum night for students in grades 3-5 and students in grades K-2 are on separate nights. The schedules are as follows:
September 25 grades 3-5 and September 27 grades K-2
Agenda for each night:
6:00 pm – 6:20 pm Principal’s message in the MPR
6:30 pm - 7:15 pm Teacher presentations in classrooms
Also, as a reminder, curriculum night is for parents to learn about their child’s new grade level, academic expectations, and curriculum. If you find that you need to have a lengthier conversation with your teacher, please contact the teacher from a meeting as the teachers are happy to meet!
