Any absences of 3 or more school days must be approved ahead of time with a pre-arranged absence request form using this link.
Although there was the opportunity to update your emergency contact and family information through the EVP process, we are finding that many students do not have correct contact information. Please take a moment to log onto Skyward Family Access and verify that your current information is up to date. If there needs to be a change, please contact Kim Byrne in our main office. We want to make sure that we can reach you or your designated contacts in case of an emergency. Thank you for taking the time to assure your student has current information.

We will be honoring our veterans at an assembly on Wednesday, November 6th at 9:45 - 10:15am. Assistant Principal, Vanessa Garcia, is preparing a special power point presentation which will include pictures of veterans who are special to our students. Please send photographs to Mrs. Garcia via email to GarciaV@issaquah.wednet.edu no later than Monday, November 4th. If you sent a picture and it was used in last year’s presentation, you don’t need to send another this year.
If you have special veterans in your family who live nearby (or if you are a veteran!), please invite them to our assemblies so we can honor them in person!

Teacher Grants - The Issaquah Schools Foundation provides an opportunity for all teachers to apply for grants to fund projects that enrich education, fill unmet needs, and/or serve as incubators for innovation. Many PTSAs offer teacher grants as well, which is great! There are times when a grant is for a larger need, may be spread to more than one school, or is simply out of a given PTSA’s budget. The Foundation is here to support those ideas that teachers have to best support our student’s education. The Foundation’s grant process is all online and will open on November 8th. More information can be found at: http://isfdn.org/our-purpose/promoting-professional-development/grants/.
Our fall campaign, Step up for Kids is still in full swing! Donations can be made online at: http://isfdn.org/donate/.
