The Clark Site Council is currently accepting applications.
Site Council Statement of Purpose
The members of the Clark Site Council (CLKSC) will:
Site councils are established by the District as a means to add value to the leadership and management of schools. They are intended to increase understanding, trust,
and support throughout the school system, especially by generating ideas, improving communications and removing barriers to understanding among stakeholders. Past agenda items at Clark have included: School Improvement Plan and evaluation data, Clark remodel,
and various other issues.
Site Council meets about 4 times a year – typically the 3rd Friday of the month from 8:00-9:00AM. Site Council positions require a two year commitment.
If you are interested in serving on Clark’s Site Council, please complete the short Self-Nomination form on the
Clark website and return it to the office. All self-nominations are due by the end of the day on Monday, May 27th . If you have any questions regarding Site Council,

Help the class of 2027 raise funds for their 5th Grade Experience!
We will be selling Car Wash tickets via Local Charity Program.
On Wednesdays and Fridays through June 21st come find us at the student pick up line after school.

Open Enrollment at Clark!
Now is the time to enroll “NEW to Clark” students. Families must live in the Clark attendance area to enroll for the upcoming 2019-20 school year.

for a FREE picnic. We'll provide pizza, a few snacks and some water.
You just bring your family, something to sit on and any snacks you'd normally take to the park.

Field Day is back at Clark and will take place the morning of
Wednesday, June 26th! This is always a fun event to close out the school year and ring in the summer. There will be a variety of fun activities and competitions for the kids to participate in. Please make sure kids are dressed comfortably for
outdoor activities. And break out the sunglasses, Hawaiian shirts, flower leis and grass skirts because our Field Day will have a Luau theme this year. The schedule will be as follows:
4th and 5th grades: 9:20 - 10:00
2nd and 3rd grades: 10:10 - 10:50
Kindergarten and 1st grade: 11:00 - 11:40

Exceptional Placement Math Test for Incoming 6th grade students.
Exceptional Placement provides an additional acceleration option for students who are ready to skip CC 7/8 and begin middle school in CC 8/Algebra 1. Interested students
must demonstrate sufficient mastery of CC 7/8 concepts and skills on a district-administered assessment. The exceptional placement assessment will be offered to interested students on
Wednesday, June 19 from 2:00-4:00 OR Wednesday, June 26 from 4:00-6:00 at the Issaquah Middle School Library. *Since CC6 math is taught in the 5th grade MERLIN program, 5th grade MERLIN students
will take the CC 7/8 Math Mastery Assessment test in their classrooms each spring.
To register to take the Exceptional Placement assessment please complete the sign up at
