News from the Office

Road Closure

The Public Works Operations (Streets) crew is scheduled to close Bush St – Front St S to 1st Ave SE – on Friday, 2/28 for shoulder repairs. I am unsure if you were notified on this work via the City “traffic Impacts” webpage, but I thought I should reach out an let you know just in case. The working hours for the closure are from 9:30am to 2:00pm, in order to miss the rush for Clarks late start. This work will last just for the hours indicated, and we typically do this once in the spring and again in the fall if warranted. Please go to - - for the full shouldering schedule this week (which includes W Sunset Way tomorrow, 2/27 under a flagging operation).

Headphone Donations

We are in need of headphones for our students. If you have any headphones or earbuds that you are no longer using, please donate them to Clark. We will be disinfecting any donations and getting them into our classrooms to support students and use of technology. Please drop off any donations to the office.

Lunch for the Break

GREAT work Clark Sharks donating items for Lunch for the Break. Thanks to your generosity and kindness we were able to donate 795 items to the food bank. Congratulations to the kindergartners for winning with the most items donated. We have set a high bar for other schools to challenge. Thank you again for your donations and supporting our community.

Have you checked your child’s PayOnline account to see if there are any fees that are due?

It is very important to check your child’s account frequently throughout the year as fees will be attached as events occur. Fees will stay attached to your child’s account until cleared by payment. All fees must be cleared before the last day of school.

Families of current third grade students: Are you interested in enrolling your student in ISD’s Science Technology Magnet Program? The Issaquah School District offers this program at three elementary school sites serving 4th and 5th grade students. Each magnet serves 50+ students in a two-year program. Each program covers all standard 4/5 district adopted curriculum with an added emphasis on science and technology. Grade specific math instruction is provided.
