Congratulations Creekside Otters! We have had an AWESOME kick-off to our Hawk-a-thon week. Friday's assembly was a blast for our students with special guests Blue Thunder, Blitz, Ollie the Otter, Sean Locklear, Mr. Seahawk, and our awesome volunteers!
Please be sure to go online and visit our PTSA website to check out all of the details on daily spirit days, prize giveaways, and how you can donate and help us reach our goal! On our website, you will find a “donate” button that you or your family and friends can use to make a donation. Please share the website link with others and let's reach our goal! We will post the Top 15 classes each day and where your classes stand as we aim to reach our overall goal of $100,000. Checks and cash can be accepted through the front office if needed. There are white envelopes on top of the black lock box and you can place your donation inside the black lock box (you can enter this online for tracking purposes too through the donate button).
We are almost halfway to our goal and with your help we will get there! All of your donations will go right back to our students and our school through curriculum-based programs, support, events and clubs throughout the year!
We will end our week on Friday, October 11th with a Top 15 Teacher Showdown Assembly and will be announcing our prizes for classes and our Seahawks tickets drawing winners for the game on October 20th! All classes will get to participate in the Cotton Candy Rockin' Recess celebration to reward them for achieving our goal! We will have special Seahawk guests at the event plus cotton candy, popcorn, music, giant themed fun, bubbles and more!

Creekside PTSA’s Reflections program is a National PTA arts recognition program that helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning. The primary focus of Reflections is a celebration of creativity through positive recognition.
Creekside students are invited to create original works of art in response to this year’s 2019/2020 theme, Look Within. Entries from all grades and all abilities are welcome!
Students may submit their original completed works in the following 6 categories: Visual Art, Photography, Dance Choreography, Film Production, Music Compositions and Literature. Whether you like to write poems, compose your own songs, make up dance routines, take cool photos, draw and paint or make your own short films, there is something for all students!
Creekside will have 12 finalists, who will have a chance to go on to the Issaquah School District round, and a chance to go to State or all the way to the National Finals!
Entering is easy! Follow the packet for the category you wish to enter. Each packet includes the official rules, guidelines for each category and the entry form. Printed packets are available on the Reflections board, located outside the Creekside office OR you can view and print online. Entry forms and the completed works are to be submitted between as early as Tuesday, October 15 and no later than Friday, October 25. An entry box will be available on the Reflections table, located outside the Creekside office.
