Levy Committee Reps Needed!
The Issaquah School District asks local voters to approve levies to pay for educational enrichments that the state does not fund, including the seven period day at two of our comprehensive high schools, mental health and counseling support, safety and security measures, activities/clubs/sports, etc., equivalent to about 15 percent of the operations budget. Because our current levies expire next year, the District is forming a community committee now to help plan the renewal/replacement of the Educational Programs and Operations Levy. (Formerly referred to as the M & O Levy)  If you are interested in representing Creekside on the committee, please pick up an application in the main office and return it by May 15. Committee members will consider the overall need, proposed content, total cost, and tax impacts of the ballot measure and present a final recommendation to the Superintendent. The commitment is a minimum of two Wednesday evenings in June. Please email Tera Coyle for more information at CoyleT@Issaquah.wednet.edu

New Creekside Website!
We’re happy to announce a newly designed Creekside website! The district’s goal is to make it easier for families to access and use our website. Here are some of the exciting changes:

  • Improved mobile experience –The Creekside website is formatted to work better with smart phones and tablets.
  • Easier to navigate– The toolbar across the top shows you everything at-a-glance, organized into groups for easy searching.
  • Consistent across schools– Soon, all ISD school pages will have a uniform layout and basic organization. Helpful if you have kids at multiple ISD schools!
  • Simplified URLhttps://www.issaquah.wednet.edu/creekside (the old URL will redirect you to the new site!)
  • Alerts– Emergency alerts posted on the ISD website will automatically show up on Creekside’s website. We can also post FYI reminders (for events, registration, etc.).
  • ADA Compliance – We are continuing to work on making our website experience fully accessible to those using screen readers or other accessibility tools.

Teacher websites have not changed platforms at this time. We will be working over the coming weeks to ensure all of our previous content was moved and easy to find.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful students and families for all the lovely flowers, cards, notes, treats and smiles! We feel blessed to be working in this community!
