Welcome to Creekside PTSA’s Reflections program for 2019-2020! Reflections is a National PTA arts recognition program that helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning. The primary focus of Reflections is a celebration of creativity through positive recognition.
Creekside students are invited to create original works of art in response to this year’s theme, Look Within. Entries from all grades and all abilities are welcome.
Students may submit their completed works in the following 6 categories: Visual Art, Photography, Dance Choreography, Film Production, Music Compositions and Literature. Whether you like to write poems, compose your own songs, make up dance routines, take cool photos, draw and paint or make your own short films, there is something for all students!
Creekside will have 12 finalists, who will have a chance to go on to the Issaquah District round, and a chance to go to State or all the way to the National Finals!
Entering is easy! Entry packets are available outside the Creekside office and are to be submitted with the work of art by Friday, October 25th.
