A note from the office -
Yesterday morning's two-hour school delay reminded us that we live in a beautiful, but stormy place, especially in the winter months. Whenever there is snow or wind in the forecast, please check the district website, your local news stations, or if you have lost power, check with your friends or neighbors to confirm. Do not call the school, as our office staff will be home too, tending to their families when you call. A two-hour delay means there are no morning activities, including Otter Club. Buses will arrive two hours later than their regularly scheduled times. Thanks for looking after each other!

And how does it fit into STEM? We will start with a 20-minute TedTalk by Sir Kenneth Robinson about creativity and education.  We will then discuss the importance of creative thinking, and how to apply it to diverse fields, including STEM.  Finally, we will put our knowledge to the test with an open-ended exercise.
