Smarter Balanced Assessment

The Smarter Balanced Assessment is the test we use in Washington State to measure student achievement in math and English language arts. All students in grades 3, 4, and 5 take the test online during school. The assessment will measure critical thinking with questions that ask students to demonstrate their research, writing, and problem solving skills in both math and English language arts.
