Introducing Megan Funes New Principal at Endeavour Elementary

Dear Endeavour Community,
I am pleased to introduce Megan Funes as the incoming principal at Endeavour Elementary School. With 16 years of experience as an educator, Megan has served for five years as the Assistant Principal at McMicken Heights Elementary in the Highline School District.
Megan’s experience includes teaching 5th and 6th grade, serving as a K-6 Math coach, supervising and managing staff, and implementing positive behavior systems. She is a National Board Certified Teacher who leverages her high level of mastery and professionalism in education to her instructional leadership. In addition, Megan has proven herself as a student advocate who is adept at developing inclusive learning environments for diverse students.
Megan shares, “I am excited to join the students, staff, and families of the Endeavour and Issaquah communities. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative environment for everyone to learn and flourish every day. I can't wait to continue the work around equity, inclusion, and social-emotional learning that makes Endeavor such a great place!”
Megan will officially begin her tenure at Endeavour on July 1, 2019. She and Principal Sividasan will work together in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.

It's Time to Enroll for Kindergarten!!! Do you have a child that will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall? Do you have a neighbor or friend that does? Starting February 1st, Kindergarten families can begin the online enrollment process for the 2019-2020 school year. Students must be 5 years old by August 31st, 2019 and you must live within Endeavour's boundary in order to enroll. Information packets will be available in the school office starting February 1st and all required documents will need to be returned to the school office by March 8th.
Kindergarten tours will be May 29th from 2:00-4:00.
