SNOW COMING??? Maybe
Reports of snow on Sunday night as well as low temperatures have been on the news today. Please be prepared by visiting the ISD website, download the FlashAlert app or watch the local news. Every ISD was mailed an Emergency Transportation Bulletin in the Fall which contains delay and closure information as well as bus stop information.
REMEMBER: If there is a 2 hour delay, school starts at 11:15. Please do not drop of your students before 10:55 AM as there is no supervision. Current students enrolled in Jaguar Club can enter at 9:00 AM.
New Visitor/Volunteer Check in System
Starting Monday, we will be using our new Check-In/Check-Out procedure for volunteers and visitors.
The first time you come, you will be asked to show your photo ID. We will scan your ID into our system and print a photo ID sticker for you to wear while you are on campus. You will only need to bring your photo ID one time. Once you are in the system, we will just need your name to print your ID. We do ask for continued patience as this system does take longer per person than the old system.
IDs are scanned into our system, verified, and a photo ID sticker printed to wear while on site. Everyone will still sign in as well - and must sign out when they leave the building. This is very important, as it is how we account for people in the building during emergencies. We will collect the ID sticker before you leave as it will be void.
ID stickers will need to be visible on volunteers and visitors at all times. This is just one more step the Issaquah School District is taking to keep our students safe. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this new system.
Thank you for helping keep our students safe!

ATTENTION PARENTS OF 5TH GRADERS TRANSITIONING TO MIDDLE SCHOOL IN THE FALL OF 2019 SUMMER TIME = SPORTS PHYSICAL TIME
Will your student be participating in the sports programs offered at middle school? If so, mark your calendar and plan to get their sports physical during the summer. Students entering 6th and 9th grade are required to have a physical dated after June 1. A physical date in the summer is valid for the entire school year. If you normally schedule your child’s physical around their birthday, we suggest you consider postponing until summer. Fifth grade students getting their physical while in the 5th grade will be required to get a second physical dated after June 1 if they want to participate in middle school sports. For more information on middle school sports and the required physical form check out the ISD Middle School Sports webpage or call the middle school office.
