It's Time to Enroll for Kindergarten!!! 
Do you have a child that will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall?  Do you have a neighbor or friend that does?  Starting February 1st, Kindergarten families can begin the online enrollment process for the 2019-2020 school year.  Students must be 5 years old by August 31st, 2019 and you must live within Endeavour's boundary in order to enroll.  Information packets are available in the school office and all required documents will need to be returned to the school office by March 8th.  Kindergarten tours will be May 29th from 2:00-4:00.  If you have questions, please contact Janine Kotan at kotanj@issaquah.wednet.edu or 425-837-7354.
Families living in the Issaquah Highlands must enroll for Grand Ridge and pick up packets at Grand Ridge Elementary.  We will know if your child will attend Endeavour or Challenger at a later date.

Endeavour Kindness Week

Dear Endeavour Parents,

Something grrreat is happening at Endeavour! This year we are beginning “Kindness Week”!  It will be the week of March 4 - 8.  We are focusing on encouraging kind thoughts, words, and actions as part of “The Great Kindness Challenge” that occurs all over the US and the world around this time of year.

Here’s what will be happening:

  • Endeavour Cards earned for KINDNESS will be worth 2 points (instead of 1) towards our school point total
  • Each day will focus on 1 part of Kindness:
    • Monday: Personal responsibility
    • Tuesday: Positive self-talk statements
    • Wednesday: Making connections
    • Thursday: Compliments
    • Friday: Helping others
  • Teachers will be given a kindness resource list of books/videos to show their classes
  • Students may do in-class activities (depending on teacher choice), like trying to complete a Kindness check-list or participating in Kindness Bingo
  • Our 5th grade Student Ambassadors who monitor our halls in the morning will be working extra hard to look for kind behavior that will earn an Endeavour cards for those kind students

We are looking forward to seeing our students shine extra brightly with the hope of continuing their kindness thru the rest of the school year.

As most of you are aware, we have a very busy parking lot before and after school.  We appreciate you paying close attention to the Para Educators that are working hard to keep our students, staff and families safe.  Please remember to:

  • Drive slowly
  • Stop at the stop sign
  • Follow directions
  • Pull all the way forward in the pick up line
  • Do not leave your vehicle unattended
  • Do not park in the fire lane
  • Do not park in reserved spaces at any time
  • Park your car if you want to walk to meet your student at the school entrance
  • Please be patient
  • Yield to the buses


Middle School Visits
March 11th is Parent Presentation for BLMS at 6:30 pm. 
March 13th is Student Orientation for BLMS at 10:30 am.  Transportation will be provided.
March 18th is both Student Orientation and Parent Presentation for PLMS and PCMS.  Transportation is not provided for these students.  Please refer to information sent home to all 5th grade families.    



Will your student be participating in the sports programs offered at middle school?  If so, mark your calendar and plan to get their sports physical during the summer.   Students entering 6th and 9th grade are required to have a physical dated after June 1.   A physical date in the summer is valid for the entire school year.  If you normally schedule your child’s physical around their birthday, we suggest you consider postponing until summer.  Fifth grade students getting their physical while in the 5th grade will be required to get a second physical dated after June 1 if they want to participate in middle school sports.   For more information on middle school sports and the required physical form check out the ISD Middle School Sports webpage or call the middle school office.  The office team will answer all your questions.

Elementary Summer School Registration opens March 4.....Elementary Summer School will be offered to current kindergarten through fifth grade (K-5) students in the Issaquah School District. The Elementary Summer School program will provide an excellent opportunity to reinforce skills and to get a jump-start on the next grade-level learning. All Elementary Summer School classes are dependent upon staffing.

Classes will be held weekdays from July 8 through August 2, 9:00am to 12:00 pm at Clark Elementary School. Tuition is $400.00. Applications will be on the district website beginning March 4. Families must provide transportation to and from Summer School.

Summer Robotics Class will be returning again this summer.....The Robotics program is a two-week class for current 4th and 5th grade students only. This course will teach the fundamentals of robotics using LEGO Mindstorm Kits. A minimum of 12 students will be required for this class to proceed. 

Two sessions will be offered, Session 1 runs weekdays from July 8 to July 19, Session 2,runs weekdays from July 22 to August 2. Both sessions will meet between 9:00 am-11:00 am at Clark Elementary School. Tuition for this two-week program is $250.00 and applications will be on the district website beginning March 4. Families must provide transportation to and from Robotics class.


We have many students with outstanding fees.  Fees are added to students accounts many times during the school year.  Please visit our Pay on Line site to be sure your child doesn’t have any outstanding fees.

The Issaquah School District Special Services Department and The Arc of King County have partnered to offer FREE training sessions open to parents, guardians, caregivers and teachers of students with special needs.

Bus Drivers Needed – We’re Hiring! As many people have seen and heard in the news, schools all across the country are experiencing a shortage of school bus drivers. This is true in the Issaquah School District as well. The ISD offers paid training and a competitive wage of up to $24.91/hour. Drivers may work part time or up to 40 hours. Full benefits include medical, dental, and vision. Drivers work a school calendar and schedule.
