 Levy Committee

The Issaquah School District asks local voters to approve levies to pay for educational enrichments that the state does not fund, including the seven period day at two of our comprehensive high schools, mental health and counseling support, safety and security measures, activities/clubs/sports, etc., equivalent to about 15 percent of the operations budget. Because our current levies expire next year, the District is forming a community committee now to help plan the renewal/replacement of the Educational Programs and Operations Levy. (Formerly referred to as the M & O Levy)
If you are interested in representing Endeavour on the committee, please pick up an application in the main office and return it by May 17th . Committee members will consider the overall need, proposed content, total cost, and tax impacts of the ballot measure and present a final recommendation to the Superintendent. The commitment is a minimum of two Wednesday evenings in June (6/5 & 6/19 5:30-8:00pm).

Smarter Balanced Assessments - Practice Opportunities at Home

We are encouraging all families to set aside some time to help your student practice for the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) coming this May for grades 3, 4 & 5. The Smarter Balanced Assessment is a system of valid, reliable, and fair next-generation assessments aligned to the Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts/Literacy & Math. Please use the following link to access the Practice & Training Tests (for ELA, Math and WCAS (5th grade science - see below):

https://wa.portal.airast.org/users/students-and-families.stml

Click on the icon for Practice & Training Tests, sign in as a Guest, and select your child's grade level when prompted.

Along with the SBA, fifth grade students will also take an additional assessment in science, called the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS). The WCAS will assess all three dimensions of the Next Generation Science Standards. For more information about this assessment follow this link: http://www.k12.wa.us/Science/Assessments.aspx

If you have additional questions about the Smarter Balanced ASsessment, please see the ISD website https://www.issaquah.wednet.edu/academics/assessment/SBA

UNPAID FEES AND FINES We have many students with outstanding fees.  Fees are added to students accounts many times during the school year.  Please visit our Pay on Line site to be sure your child doesn’t have any outstanding fees. Fees turn to fines on the last day of school which will prevent viewing report cards.

Your log in is your Family Access login.

Your password is different than your Family Access password. You would have set this up yourself, if you have visited the pay on line site previously. If you can’t remember your password,  please click the link to reset your password – on the login page. Directions will be sent to the email address we have on file. If this is your first time logging in to the site, follow the link to set up your password.

Please contact Deborah Donohoe at donohoed@issaquah.wednet.edu if you are having trouble signing in.

Are you moving this summer?

If your student(s) will not be attending Endeavour next year, please let the office know as soon as possible. Also, please be sure to update the office if you have moved or changed your contact information so we have the correct information on file.
