Any student arriving after testing has begun will not be admitted to class until testing has completed for that day. Students may not be dismissed from class during testing for any reason other than illness. Please read the following section for more details about absences during testing.

As we have done in the past, family trips taken during assessment windows will be marked as Unexcused. This is because the data collected during these assessments informs our practice and supports your child’s learning. Naturally, our preference is for families to travel during vacation periods outlined by the ISD. If your family needs to travel outside of those windows, please be aware of two things:
1) Absences during assessment windows are marked as unexcused
2) Per State law beginning 2017-18:
Things to note:

Where can I find more information or practice tests?
When are Grades 3-5 testing? The testing window at Grand Ridge is from late March to June 2019. Your child's classroom teacher will be sending out their individual testing dates when they become available.
