Issaquah Valley Parent Survey
Within a school there are certain practices and characteristics that affect student learning and the overall performance of the school. To change or improve, it is first necessary to understand what is happening in your child’s school and what students, as well as parents/families, are experiencing. Your feedback is important to help us provide the best possible education for your child. Please click HERE to partake in this survey. Your input and time is greatly appreciated! This Survey is confidential and anonymous.

LAST DAY of School
The last day of school is Thursday, June 27. School will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. that day and lunch will NOT be served. If you normally pick up your child, please make sure to do so promptly at 11:45 a.m.

Lost and Found
It's that time again! Make sure to check the IVE Lost and Found ASAP. We have jackets, hats, water bottles, and much more! Remaining items will be collected for donation on June 25 at 11:30am.

Parent Reminder Regarding Student Drop Off
A friendly reminder to parents: Please do not drop your children off to school before 9:00 AM.  There is no one to supervise students before 9:00 AM outside and students are unable to wait in the office.  This does not apply to students enrolled in Cougar Club before-school care. Thank you!

Field Day – Volunteers Needed
This year Field Day will be on Tuesday, June 25th at the IVE Playground. Volunteers are needed from 9:30-11:15am for K-2nd Grade Field Day, and from 1:15-3:00pm for 3rd-5th Grade Field Day. We need LOTS of volunteers to assist IVE Staff to run each station, help with water, and coordinate the fun! To volunteer, please click HERE.

Life Threatening Health Plans
Life threatening health plans were emailed on Monday, June 3, with ALL of the information and Forms pertaining to the requirements.  If you have a child with a condition such as life-threatening allergies requiring an Epipen, Asthma, Diabetes, seizures, or anything deemed life-threatening, please check your email/junk mail and let the nurse know if you did not receive an email.  Please see below (News from the Nurse) for more detailed information.

Dress Code
Warm weather is coming, so please keep in mind our dress code: Clothing should be neat, clean and presentable. Clothing that is disruptive to the educational process or presents health or safety problems will not be permitted.  Headwear is acceptable indoors for health or religious reasons. Hoodies must be down inside the building. Parents/guardians will be contacted if it is felt that their child’s dress is inappropriate.

The following items are not allowed:

  • Clothing with obscene or questionable pictures or words
  • Short-shorts and skirts (fingertip length with hands on the side)
  • Halter, midriff, or tube tops
  • Flip flops or other unsafe footwear
  • All undergarments need to be covered

Are you moving this summer?
If your student(s) will not be attending Issaquah Valley next year, please let the office know as soon as possible. Also, please be sure to update the office if you have moved or changed your contact information so we have the correct information on file.

Year-End Absences
The last day of school is June 27th, due to making up 6 snow days!  Many families expected our last day to be June 19th, and have already made plans.  If your student will not be attending class at the end of the school year for 3+ days, please fill out a prearranged absence form and return it to the Issaquah Valley Office as soon as possible.
