Head lice is a fact of life and is common in children, especially if they went to sleep-away camp, or attend sleepovers.  Parents should be regularly checking their children’s head for signs of head lice and teaching their kids not to share combs, helmets, hair bows or brushes.  Please do your part in helping us keep this under control at school by performing regular checks at home.

If your child takes medications and needs to take them at school, please alert the Nurse.  We have a process for administering medications at school and elementary students do not self-administer. Please do not put medications into lunches, backpacks, pockets or anywhere else on your student.  This is not safe and could result in harm to another student.  Please just check in with our school nurse and she can help you.

Let’s have a safe and healthy year at school!
