LOST AND FOUND ITEMS TO BE DONATED

Our Lost and Found area is overflowing! Coats, hats, water bottles, lunch boxes, gloves, you name it! Please check for your child's belongings before December 13. After that date we will be donating all items left behind. The Lost and Found area is at the bottom of the main stairs, right outside the library - you can't miss it!

Elementary Phase 1 Curriculum Adoption – Foundational Reading Skills Parent Survey

The ISD Teaching and Learning Department will review instructional reading materials for teaching foundational reading skills beginning in December 2019. During this literacy adoption, a district committee will review evidence-based practices and instructional materials to make recommendations. As partners in your child’s education, we invite you to follow this link to complete a survey.

Highly Capable for 2nd Grade

Highly capable testing for second grade students will occur at all elementary schools January 14 through January 17 and continue March 10 through March 13. Students who are identified as “most highly capable” will be invited to enter either SAGE or MERLIN in the 2020-21 school year. Second grade students attending private or home-based schools are invited to participate. Contact your neighborhood school for more information about how to participate. More information about the Issaquah School District Highly Capable Program and testing for second grade students is available on theHighly Capable Issaquah School District webpage.

S.T.E.M. Workshops at the Issaquah Community Center. Saturdays, 10:00am–12:00pm.

Ages 6-10. $48; 40 for Residents. Join Pamela Kennedy, an award-winning science teacher and owner of Cascade Enrichment for educational workshops that will get your kids thinking, solving and creating. Choose one workshop or sign up for multiple – each workshop is individual from each other. December 7: Digging for Dinosaurs.
