Dear Sunset Families,
Thank you so much to all the students who donated food for our Apple Cup Blitz food drive. We are so thankful and lucky to have such support in our community. And a huge THANK YOU to our Student Counsel team who headed this up and counted each and every item. We ended up with a grand total of 2,138 items. The Huskies pulled off a win of 1,277 to 861. But the real winner here is the Issaquah Food Bank. So thankful for all of our giving families in this community.
I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is already upon us. As a reminder, school will be closed Thursday and Friday to celebrate this holiday. Over the course of the week students and staff have been engaged in a variety of activities as they have been reflecting on what they are thankful for. Personally, I am extremely thankful to be part of this special kind and caring community. Thank you for the food donations for the Issaquah Food Bank, the gift donations for the Holiday Gift Barn and for being such a wonderful part of our community. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend filled with laughter and love with your family and friends.
In partnership,
LeAnn

Please bring only new, unwraped items & drop them off in the Sunset office by December 2nd. Volunteers will then take all items to Pickering Barn for Issaquah Food Bank families to do their holiday shopping! Thank you for helping spread joy & happiness this holiday season!
