New Student Registration

Welcome to Sunset Elementary! We are very excited to meet your family and welcome you to the Sunset family!

Please click the following link to begin the online enrollment process.

Please note that you will be required to upload the following paperwork:

  • Copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport
    • For kindergarten registrations your birth day must be on or before August 31st.
  • 2 residence verification documents, including:
    • Copy of current signed lease agreement or proof of purchase of home/tax statement for home
    • Copy of current utility bill*
    • CID (Immunization) Records

Copy of guardian’s identification (driver’s license or passport) needs to be submitted to the school office prior to class placement.

*If you have recently moved and do not have a bill don't worry. We can take the statement from Puget Sound Energy that confirms you are now receiving services at your new address.

Please note that it will take 3 school days to fully register your student and have him or her placed in a class once a completed registration is submitted. Students cannot be placed in a class until the registration is complete.

Spring 2018 Kindergarten Registration

Welcome to Sunset Elementary! We are very excited to meet your family and welcome you to the Sunset family!

Registration packets are available in the school office from February 5th through March 9th. Families are welcome to either pick up a packet and return it at a later time, or fill it out when you come by. If you plan to stay and fill out the paperwork please give yourself 30-45 minutes to do so. Also, please bring the following paperwork:

  • 2 residence verification documents
    • Copy of current signed lease agreement or proof of purchase of home/tax statement for home
    • Copy of current utility bill
  • Copy of guardian’s identification (driver’s license or passport)

Please not that incomplete packets are unable to be submitted for registration.

The first day of kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year will begin on September 10, 2018.
