Goodwill Donation Drive from DECA

Parents, before doing your winter cleaning and getting rid of your donation items, consider holding on to them for just 2 months longer! Issaquah DECA is hosting a Goodwill truck fundraiser where we try to fill 2 entire trucks with donated items from our community. The Goodwill trucks will be coming to Issaquah High School on Saturday, January 27th from 10 AM to 2 PM. You can bring almost any donation items and not only will they go to a great cause, but Issaquah DECA get's a small donation from Goodwill to support our activities. Issaquah DECA students and Goodwill employees will be present to help you unload. Thank you for supporting our student's activities.

Traffic Safety Education

The Spring session of the Issaquah High School Traffic Safety Education program will open for enrollment on Tuesday, December 12. The application is available on the Teacher webpage tab under Brenda Fortier (CTE and PE). Enrollment is open to the first 25 students that apply so sign up today.

What Every Parent Wants to Know About the Issaquah School District

Come learn more about the Issaquah School District on February 1 at Issaquah Valley Elementary at 6:30pm. Parents and staff will present information about school programs, behavior expectations, grading, assessment, communicating with schools, and other topics regarding education in the Issaquah School District. ISD Annual Post-Graduation Survey Notice – Issaquah HS

Graduating Seniors from the Class of 2017 received email invitations over winter break with a link to participate in an online post-graduation survey. The survey asks our most recently graduated students how well the Issaquah School District prepared them for post-secondary education, work, and life. The survey will remain open through January 12, 2018. Parents and guardians, your help would be much appreciated in encouraging our former students to participate in the survey! Thank You Boosters!

To date, the IHS Boosters Club has contributed over $6,900 to student programs which include:  A third coach for Girls Basketball; Rolling Shelters for the Girls and Boys Soccer Teams; and a stipend for the Cross Country Team to participate in a travel tournament in hopes of qualifying for Nationals!  Thank you Booster Club members for your generosity in supporting our kids!

ISD Reflections Honors “Within Reach” District-wide Awards Ceremony

Reflections celebrates our incredible artists for their imagination and creativity! Come and be inspired!

IH PTSA, in partnership with Kaplan Test Prep, is offering an affordable opportunity for students to take practice SAT or ACT exams, February 3rd, 2018, at IHS, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Students learn scores that day, and may use feedback to guide testing prep focus and activities.  Register for these tests by visiting  IH PTSA SAT ACT Mock Test Info.

What’s the All-Night Grad Party?  It’s all-inclusive graduation party-senior year highlight-providing a safe, sober, great opportunity for graduates to CELEBRATE.  Fun begins on the evening of graduation, after returning to IHS: graduates hop on buses, and whisked away to "secret" locations for a night of festivities. Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety

Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety is a documentary about anxiety, causes/effects, and what we can do about it, featuring interviews with kids and young adults who've suffered from anxiety. The film includes experts helping people manage anxiety, and researching causes and sociological effects, while offering tools and resources providing hope.  Q&A to follow. Recommended for ages 12+. Cost is free for ISD PTSA Members; $10 donation requested from non-members.  Presented in the IHS Theater, January 24th, 2018, at 7:00 PM.  A second presentation at Liberty High School, on January 30th, 2018, starting at 7:00 PM.
