 Veterans Day Assembly

Issaquah High School will be holding an assembly to honor Veteran’s Day on Friday November 9th at 9:45am.  We would like to extend an invitation to any family members of our student body who are veterans and would like to attend the assembly.  All visitors must check in at the main office prior to the assembly and have photo ID on them.  The assembly should last around 45 minutes.  We would be honored to see you there.  Thank you.

Traffic Safety Education Program

The Winter session of the Issaquah High School Traffic Safety Education program is now open for enrollment. The application is available on the Teacher webpage tab under Brenda Fortier (CTE and PE) as well as the school website. Enrollment is open to the first 25 students that apply so sign up today.

The session begins on November 14. Please see the registration for exact dates and times. Classes will be held at Issaquah High School in room 3206. If you have any questions please contact Brenda Fortier at

Draft Interpretation and Community Input of EL-16- Equity

The Superintendent has created a draft interpretation and invites the community to provide input into this interpretation. Once the Superintendent is satisfied with the interpretation, he and his team will begin to collect the evidence that must be brought forward for monitoring purposes. The ISD Board of Directors is scheduled to perform its first monitoring of EL-16 at the January 23, 2019 school board meeting.

Winter Sports Registration

Winter sports online registration will open on 10/15/18. The athletic office will be accepting paperwork on Monday 10/15 before school, during lunches, and after school. All paperwork must be turned in by 11/9. Winter sports night will be on 11/15/18 in the main gym at Issaquah High School starting at 6:30, individual coaches meetings to follow. This meeting is mandatory for all winter athletes and highly recommended for parents. Boosters will be selling logo wear.

Please note that Originalphysicals along with other required registration documents are to be turned in to the bookkeeping and then athletic offices during the three main open athletic registration periods.

Please make & keep extra copies of your student’s physicals!!Parents will need extra physical copies for any students who plan on participating in any spring or summer type camps at the end of the school year!!

 The Athletic Registration process for the 2018-2019 school year requires you to register online AND submit documents in person to the Bookkeeper and Athletic Secretary.  Online registration for WINTER SPORTS will be available starting October 15th.  From October 15th– November 9th, during the hours of 8:00am-2pm, the Bookkeeper and Athletic Secretary will accept the required documents to complete the Athletic Registration process.  All forms must be turned in by November 9th.  Forms will NOT be accepted on Monday, November 12th.

Paperwork that was turned in for Spring/Summer activities is not the same as Winter Sports registration. Please make sure if you are planning to participate in Winter Athletics you follow the instructions for the online registration.

Teen Vaping: What Parents Need To Know

The Foundation’s annual All in for Kids campaign is still going strong.  The Foundation supports everything from essentials like food and school supplies for students in need, to enrichment such as robotics and fine arts programs.  Please support our students by donating at

  • $5/month ($60/year) — Provides 30 healthy breakfasts to hungry children.

  • $50/month ($600/year) — Brings the Seattle Shakespeare Company to inspire and engage one 9th grade language arts class.

Senior Community Service Hours 

Seniors, it’s a great time to start logging hours with the IH PTSA for Graduation Acknowledgement.  100+ cumulative hours, over the course of all four years. This program is designed to recognize students’ contributions to the community through service. 2019 Senior All-Night Graduation Party -- Register Early to Save

What’s the All-Night Grad Party?  Anall-inclusive graduation party-senior year highlight-providing a safe, sober opportunity for graduates to CELEBRATE! After the ceremony at Safeco, June 13th, 2019, at 10:00 PM, graduates hop on buses, and whisked away to "secret" locations for a night of festivities.
