High School Musical
Calling all WILDCATS at heart! Tuesday March 27th through Saturday March 31st Issaquah High School presents Disney’s
High School Musical! The show begins at 7:00pm in the IHS Performing Arts Center.
No presale tickets will be available. Ticket pricing is as follows students $10 adults $15. Come and out enjoy some music, fun, and laughter and we remember that we are “all in this together”
Issaquah Thespian Society Workshop
Issaquah High’s chapter of the International Thespian Society will be hosting a theatre workshop for children in grades 3-8. These workshops aim to teach children about everything theatre, from dancing, singing, acting, and auditions, to prop and set building,
costuming, light and sound board and microphone operation, theatre tours, and a showcase of everything your elementary school children learned at the conclusion of the workshops. Lessons will be taught by our own trained and dedicated troupe members, and
supervision will be provided by our adult troupe advisers. The elementary school level workshop will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 10:00-1:00 pm with the showcase from 1-1:30pm. Both workshops will be held in Issaquah High School's theatre. The middle
school level workshop will be held from 1:45-5:00 pm. Registration costs $35 per child and snacks will be provided at both workshops. This fee will go towards supporting our grateful high school theatre department and Troupe #8397.

Automated Lunch Balance Notifications Starting March 12
The ISD Food Service Department has developed an automated lunch balance notification system that sends an e-mail to parents and guardians when a student’s lunch balance is low or account is in arrears. No action is required to begin receiving these notifications.
Those who may wish to opt out may do so at any time via the instructions at the bottom of the automated emails. The low lunch balance e-mail notification system will go live on March 12, 2018. If you have any questions about the program, please contact Food

Traffic Safety Education- Spring II Session
The Spring II session of the Issaquah High School Traffic Safety Education program will open for enrollment on Monday, March 5. The application is available here and can also
be found on the Teacher webpage tab under Brenda Fortier (CTE and PE). Enrollment is open to the first 25 students that apply so sign up today.
The session begins on April 16, 2018. Please see the registration for exact dates and times. Classes will be held at Issaquah High School in room 3206. If you have any questions please contact Brenda Fortier at firstname.lastname@example.org
New TOLO Date- April 28th
The TOLO Dance will be held on Saturday, April 28th from 8:30-11pm at Issaquah High School. It was recently brought to our attention that the original TOLO date (March 31st) is the second night of Passover. We apologize for overlooking
this important Jewish holiday and will continue to work to be sensitive to the cultural and religious needs of our community. We apologize for any inconvenience the date change causes and appreciate your understanding. Tickets for the dance will go on sale
beginning on April 23rd. Pre-sale tickets will be $15 with an ASB card and $20 without an ASB card. All tickets at the door will cost $25. If you would like to bring a guest to the dance that does not attend IHS be sure to complete a guest
form and submit it to Ms. Couty no later than 3:15 pm on April 26th.

Believe it or not, it is time for 8th grade students to begin the registration process for high school. Please take a moment to read the 8th to 9th grade transition letter.
8th grade registration will take place on multiple nights determined by last name. The dates and times for registration are listed below. Please view the registration flyer attached to this email for more information.

PTSA and BOOSTER CLUB INFORMATION
Issaquah Schools Foundation
The Issaquah Schools Foundation is once again providing scholarships to help juniors and seniors in the Issaquah School District continue their educational journeys. The Impact Scholarship will be awarded to students who submit essays that
describe how Foundation-funded programs have enriched their education. Current Issaquah Schools Foundation Student Trustees and children of ISF Board and staff may not apply.
The Impact Scholarship will be awarded in two categories. The winner of each category will receive a scholarship for use at a post-secondary institute of learning.
