Eligibility Packet
Annual Physicals Are Required for Sports Eligibility.  Sport physicals MUST be current for the entire season.  Students will not be cleared to turn out with a physical that expires during  the regular season or playoffs.  The ISD requires an annual physical.  Every-other-year updates are no longer accepted.

Fees:

Sports Fees: $200 per sport, per student annual maximum of $400
ASB Fee: $55 

Spring:

We will start taking sports registration on Tuesday 1/26/16, all forms will need to be turned in by Friday 2/26/16. Paperwork will be accepted before school, during lunches, breaks, and after school until 3pm.

Spring Sports Night:

Spring sports night will be on 3/7/16 in the main gym at Issaquah High School starting at 5:30, individual coaches meetings to follow. This meeting is mandatory for all spring athletes and highly recommended for parents. 

 Boosters will be selling logo gear!

First Day Information:

Sport Start Date Coach Time and Location
Baseball Feb 29 Rob Reese Baseball will meet right after school on the 29th. Grades 10-12 will stay at the highschool and tryout until 6pm approx. 9th graders will be shuttled to PCMS  each day and tryout until approx 6pm. Parents will need to pick up at PCMS each night. The boys will need bats, gloves, cleats, and baseball pants.
Track & Field  Feb 29  Tracy Silva, &

Track will meet in the Aux gym at 3pm. Students should wear workout cloths,
 Boys Soccer Feb 29 Kyle Tatro 9th, 10th, 11th, and returners who played JV last year should arrive at the main field at 3:45 and will tryout from 4:00-5:30. Seniors and returners who played varsity last year should arrive at 5:15 and will tryout from 5:30-7:00.
Girls Tennis Feb 29 Christy McGraw All girls should be at the tennis courts at 2:40. Please bring a tennis raquet, dress in athletic wear, and a water bottle.
Girls Golf Feb 29 Tom Bakamus Students should meet at Snoqualmie Falls Golf Course in Fall City. Tryouts will be from 3:15 to 5:15. Students will need golf clubs and golf attire.
Softball Feb 29 Ron Hatlen Students will meet at upper softball field. Tryouts will start at 3:00pm on the 29th and go until 5:30. Students should bring water, plastic cleats, mit, and bat.

Sportmanship:  At IHS sporting events, all spectators are asked to positively support their team, which includes avoiding cheers that include profanity, are derogatory in nature, or single specific people out. The IHS administrators will ensure this by reserving the right to remove those breaking IHS or KingCo Fan rules from the event. The rules outlined in the student handbook apply to all IHS related activities, and consequences as outlined in the Student Discipline Rules and Violations section of the student handbook will apply.

IHS fans are to embody the KingCo Athletics’ Fan Sportsmanship slogan of “Be Loud, Be Proud, Be Positive.” Fans are expected to refrain from cheers and remarks that include profanity, are derogatory in nature, or single anyone out. IHS administrators and supervisors reserve the right to remove those suspected of breaking IHS rules or KingCo fan expectations from the event. The rules and guidelines included in the student handbook applies to all IHS related activities.
