Goooood morning Liberty Patriots. I hope y’all had a great weekend. I've been seeing a lot of coziness at our school today, and it makes me feel too cozy. Just a reminder that we're blasting off to another destination tomorrow, wear shirts that sport a location that you have visited. And looking ahead, Wednesday is lovers day, so dress up in your red, pink, and white gear. I hope everyone has a great fun and fabulous, fun feb spirit week. But for now you esteemed patriots, keep calm and carry on. This is Quinnny Boyy, signing off.
Congratulations to the boys’ swim and dive team who took second place at last weekend’s District meet. Stellar performances came from the entire team! Top eight finalists included freshmen Ian DeVogel and Andrew Kim; sophomores Brian Kim, Amon Rittenberg, TJ Tribble, Andrew Ou and Alex Nguyen; juniors Justin Ung, and Brian Fitzgerald; and seniors Milo Larson and Will Wick. Junior Ryan Kirschner was the District diving champion, and he also broke Liberty’s diving record, which was over ten years old. Sophomore Warren Briggs was a double District champ in the 200 and 500 freestyles. Briggs also set a new District record in the 500 free. Liberty will take 13 athletes to the State meet next weekend. Great job guys!
