PSAT/NMSQT Scores Available in December
Scores from the PSAT/NMSQT will be released online to students December 9–11.
Students are encouraged to create a
College Board account so they can easily access their scores once they're released online and unlock personalized resources to help them understand their scores. Many students have already created College Board accounts for AP class registration. If a
student doesn't see their scores when they log in, they may need to enter an access code (which they will receive on a paper copy of their score report).
Our school is expected to receive PSAT/NMSQT paper score reports in mid-December. We will distribute paper copies of score reports along with student test booklets through Social Studies classes.
Here is an example of a PSAT/NMSQT score report so you know what to anticipate.
Next year’s PSAT/NMSQT testing date is Wednesday, Oct. 14. If you have any questions about the PSAT/NMSQT or scores, please contact Mrs. Armstrong (email@example.com).
Advanced Placement Test Fees
If your student signed up for an Advanced Placement (AP) test, the fee(s) have been assessed to your student’s account. The fee for each test is $94. If your student decides not to participate in an exam, $40 of the exam fee
is non-refundable after Friday, Nov. 15. If your student would like to add an additional exam, there is a $40 additional fee for any exam added after Friday, Nov. 15. The exam order will be finalized in early March and at that time no further changes will
be possible. Please use the “Pay Online” system on our website
https://web.issaquah.wednet.edu/Touchbase to view and pay this fee by Friday, Dec. 13.
If you would like additional information about AP testing, such as specific exam dates and times, as well as what to bring on exam day, you can find that information on the LHS AP website:
Pre-arranged Absence: If a student must miss school for 3 or more days, you may apply for an excused pre-arranged absence. Turn in the Pre-Arranged
Absence Form at least 1 week prior to the first day of the absence to be evaluated. It may not be approved if it will cause a serious adverse effect on the student's educational progress. The Pre-Arranged Absence Form is also available at the Attendance
Early Dismissal: Bring a note from your parent/guardian (or an e-mail sent to attendance secretary from parent/guardian) on the morning of your early dismissal and give it to the Attendance Secretary. Note/e-mail must include time student
needs to be excused and the reason, and if they are returning that day.
You must sign out before leaving. Upon returning the same day, you must sign in with the Attendance Secretary prior to returning to class. If you are picking up your student without prior notification to the attendance office, the dismissal process
may take up to 15 minutes.
