Winter Sports Info Night

Monday, Nov 25 - 6:30 pm

Winter Sports Info Night will be held in Liberty’s Landback Auditorium.  Winter Sports Info Night is MANDATORY* for all winter athletes and a parent/guardian.  Sports Info Night consists of an Initial Presentation by the Athletic Director, Danielle Zelinski, followed by individual Team Meetings with coaches.

*If a student/parent attended the Fall Sports Initial Presentation, they need only attend the Team Meeting with coach.  Student-athletes/parents are required to attend the AD’s Initial Presentation only once per year.


Liberty Key Club Giving Tree 

This holiday season, Liberty's Key Club has set up a Giving Tree in order to help collect and donate items to the Issaquah Food Bank. Please help to show your support by donating an item from one of the tags on the tree. Ranging from personal hygiene items, socks and underwear, toys, and more, any support and/or donation is very much appreciated and will go to supporting our community this winter. Please email libertypatriotskeyclub@gmail.com with any questions. Key Club and Liberty thanks you! 


Campus Fencing Project

Starting Wednesday, November 20th, new fencing will be installed on the east side of the Liberty Campus.  During this project, there will be no parking along the street on 169th Ave SE.

Please remind Student Drivers:

  • To allow extra time in the morning to find parking elsewhere.
  • Parking in the Liberty School Parking Lot is by paid permit only.
  • As always, please remember to be courteous to surrounding neighbors and don't block driveways.
  • To take the school bus, if available. Check for routes here.

The project should be done within 1 1/2 weeks. Once the project is complete, parking will resume as normal.  Thank you in advance for your patience during this time.

Please note that there are no after school activities on Wednesday, November 27 and there will be no EDA/Academic Buses. Regular bus routes will run as normal. 


Thanksgiving Holiday, November 28 and 29

School will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 28 and 29 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Enjoy your holiday!


Community Forum - Resiliency after Grief and Loss - Dec 2 at 7pm

On Monday, December 2, Liberty High School will be partnering with Swedish Medical Center to host a forum on “Resiliency after Grief and Loss”. 

This event, from 7:00-9:00pm in the LHS Theater, will be presented by Laura Takacs, LISW, MPH, Director of Clinical Services at the Grief Center at Virginia Mason Hospital.  Ms. Takacs will discuss the process that people go through as they experience grief and loss in their lives, and will present strategies on how we can help one another and ourselves.  This is a free event.  Please join us!  


Graduation Day 

Graduation is June 12, 2020 at T-Mobile Park at 4:30 pm.

Transportation in Winter Weather

All ISD families were mailed an Emergency Transportation Bulletin to their homes in October with information on snow routes and stops as well as school delays and closures due to inclement weather. Can’t find your copy? No problem! You can find an electronic copy of the Emergency Transportation Bulletin can be found on the district website here.

School closures and delays are announced early in the morning, usually between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. If you anticipate emergency transportation conditions, please check for an announcement on the District or school websites, on social media, or sign up to receive information straight from the District.

To receive closure information straight from the district:

  • Make sure you are receiving District Enews: Sign up on our website. Weather delay notifications will NOT be sent via individual school eNews.
  • Check the ISD homepage, issaquah.wednet.edu.
  • Subscribe to receive weather delay and closure texts or emails from transportation department at FlashAlert.net. Please note this is for weather emergencies only.
