Sports Registration Process
Athletic registration is a two-step process. After successfully completing both steps, the Athletic Secretary will issue Final Clearance.
STEP 1: REGISTER ONLINE. All ISD students interested in participating in sports are required to register online. Access to online registration is available on the District's High School Sports webpage. The District webpage and online system contain important information - PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION CAREFULLY. You must print the Confirmation Page & Emergency Authorization Form at the end of the online process.
STEP 2: BRING THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS TO LIBERTY
In order to receive Final Clearance, everyone must FIRST see the Bookkeeper and SECOND the Athletic Secretary. If all requirements are met, the Athletic Secretary will issue Final Clearance. Final Clearance is REQUIRED in order to attend tryouts or practice.
Sports Physicals
For incoming freshmen, the physical must be dated June 1st, 2018 or later. For ALL athletes, District policy states that ANNUAL sports physicals are required & good for one calendar year only and cannot expire before the end of post-season events for the season in which you are participating. At the time of registration, you must present a physical that meets these requirements.
*ONLY SIGNED & DATED ORIGINAL SPORTS PHYSICAL WILL BE ACCEPTED*
MAKE COPIES OF THE PHYSICAL AND RETAIN FOR YOUR RECORDS
All NEW students to the Issaquah School District, AND all PRIVATE SCHOOL, HOME SCHOOL, and GIBSON EK students must enroll online EACH YEAR in Liberty High School. Please CLICK HERE to begin the NEW online enrollment process. (Prior to this year the process was to submit the Limited Enrollment Packet.) Enrollment requests are processed by the Counseling Dept. on a 1st come, 1st served basis and are completed in the order in which they are received. It may take several days to be enrolled due to the large number of requests prior to the start of school, so PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. After the student has been cleared by the school registrar and is listed in the school's system, the student & parent/guardian will then be able to log in to the Athletic Registration system. The student must be enrolled in LHS PRIOR to beginning the online Athletic Registration process.
All NEW students, PRIVATE SCHOOL, HOME SCHOOL, and RUNNING START students must PROVIDE CURRENT TRANSCRIPTS to the Athletic Office in order to complete the required grade verification process for athletic eligibility.
All Running Start students must complete the Running Start Form.
All Home School students must complete the Home-Based Education Form.
