 Custom Recognition Ads for the Yearbook for the Class of 2019

Parents can purchase a custom yearbook recognition ad for their Senior.  The last day to order will be Jan 19, 2019.  Please click here for more information on creation and ordering your ad.

Finals for Semester 1 will take place on the following dates:

January 23rd - Periods 5 and 6

January 24th - Periods 3 and 4

January 25th - Periods 1 and 2

Thanks to the generous support of the Issaquah Schools Foundation, we are once again able to provide additional tutoring support for finals during the following dates and times. 

The bell times for finals will be as follows:

For students interested in taking the 2019 Advanced Placement Exams, please follow these instructions. Please contact Megan Laedtke laedtkem@issaquah.wednet.edu in the counseling department if you have any questions.

1. Registration for 2019 AP exams is now open. Registration takes only a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access. Click on the following link to register: 2019 AP Exam Registration
2. Please note that registration is through Issaquah High School.
3. Be sure to list your school as Skyline High School and the CEEB code as 480501
4. To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have printed the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end. We know that parents may desire to register their students for exams. We strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered.
5. Skyline High School is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing payment.
6. This year each AP exam costs $98.00.
7. Please contact Ms. Nicole Jansen, jansenn@issaquah.wednet.edu if you would like to register for an exam not listed, have questions about financial assistance, or any other questions.
8. All exams will take place at Issaquah High School.
9. Check the AP Exam Schedule prior to registration. Please note that if you are scheduled to take IB Exams at Skyline that many schedules conflict with the AP schedule. Please do not schedule an AP Exam when you are scheduled to take an IB Exam. They cannot be moved.
10. Students must provide their own transportation. Parking is limited so please arrive early or carpool.
11. Students should connect with SHS teachers to make arrangements to make-up any assignments missed.
12. Here are the important dates for the registration process:

• Thursday December 13, 2018 - Registration Begins
• Friday, Feb 22, 2019 at 2:25 PM - Registration Ends
• Registrations that are not paid by 2:25 PM, Monday, Feb 25, 2019 will be cancelled and exams will not be ordered.

“Coffee with Keith” is a monthly opportunity for parents, guardians and families to ask questions and provide a parent perspective to me in a small group setting.  These talks are for discussing topics related to Skyline as a whole and not an opportunity to discuss topics specific to your student, a staff member or particular program. 

The next Coffee with Keith will be Wednesday, January 30th at 8:00 am in the Library.

CONGRATULATIONS REFLECTIONS FINALISTS!

Congratulations to all the students that participated in the 2018-2019 Reflections program. The theme was "Heroes around me.” We had amazing artwork in all categories.

Congratulations to the twelve finalists of Skyline High School and they will represent the school at the district level. The Issaquah School District reception is Tuesday, January 15th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Issaquah High School commons.  Way to go, Spartans.
