ISD’s Atomic Learning Subscription Ending

The ISD subscription to Atomic Learning will end in June. Staff may continue using Atomic Learning through the end of the subscription and receive pay for watching Atomic Learning videos through June 25.

In order to receive compensation, staff must submit compensation requests and activity logs to the Educational Technology Office by the end of the workday June 26.

Certificated Staff Instructions
Certificated staff have six technology per diem hours each school year. Once those six per diem hours are used (for example if you used them at the Technology Kickoff), an additional 15 hours at the in-service rate may be earned via Atomic Learning. All compensation sheets for the 2016/17 school year must be received no later than September 6, 2017.

Atomic Learning tutorials that qualify for compensation begin with "Ed Tech" and are found under  “My Training>Recommended Training” and "Issaquah Tutorials."

If you find a technology tutorial that is not in either of these locations and it is relevant to your teaching assignment, please contact Diana Eggers to review. The list of recommended training and “Issaquah Tutorials” will increase throughout the year.

Staff are welcome to use Atomic Learning as often as desired for their own personal learning. To be compensated, the guidelines must be met and the tutorials must be completed outside the contract day. If they are not, the compensation form and Atomic Learning Detailed Activity Report forms will be returned for correction.
