The Northwest Augmentative Communication Society does regular trainings around issues related to Assistive Technology. It is open to both professionals and families. I have gone to the annual conference (held in October) regularly for the past four years and have always come away with great resources to use right away.
Project Participate is a project out of the University of Colorado and JFK Partners which gives ideas to increase active, meaningful inclusion in the school setting for students with significant disabilities.
