Bi- Weekly Updates:

April 28, 2020

Every week I will send out a weekly schedule for academic areas within Seesaw.  Due to there be various groups doing various lessons, I will not be posting those schedules here, but if you would like me to send you weekly lesson plans for your son or daughter's academic groups, please feel free to email me.

Tomorrow (4/29/20) I will be emailing parents to discuss what services have been so far, and the tentative plan as online learning continues. I will outline the services your student receives and how the special education team (including speech, occupational therapy and/or physical therapy) will be provided. As part of your student’s IEP team your feedback is both necessary and greatly appreciated. Please let us know how we can best support you.

Last Friday (4/24) I sent home via USPS notes to students. For students who receive academic services, I included a post-it note with online programs we will be using. I only wrote usernames and passwords for programs your student had not yet logged into. For example, if I saw they had already logged into clever, I did not send that information, because it was apparent they already know the required information.

The use of these online programs is important. It provides students with instruction at their level and/or pertaining to the specific skills I have taught in my weekly lessons. Please assist them in logging in if they need it, but let them work independently so we get a good idea on their skill level.

Thank you for your efforts, grace and understanding as we continue to maneuver through these times. They can be difficult and overwhelming, but we are in this together and here to support each other.
