Essential New learning plans have been sent to you from your classroom teacher. All teachers are using Seesaw and many are using other platforms through Clever and/or Raz kids. I will be monitoring Seesaw postings and postings some of my own activities. I sure am missing the kids and look forward to connecting with the students in these upcoming weeks. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need support with these plans.

I miss seeing you so much! What kinds of activities are you doing from home? Below I enclosed a picture of my daughter and I reading in the sun a few days ago. Send me a picture of something you are doing at home with a sentence (or more).

Due to Covid-19 not all the assessments may be complete. Some students did take all 4 parts of the ELPA21 test, others were partially complete and some had not started yet. We are unsure how the state is going to interpret the results and will let you know as soon as a plan is put in place. Typically, these results will indicate if the student will continue to receive direct ELL services next year. If the student passes the ELPA21 assessment, they will be monitored for 2 years to see if the students needs continued support. I will let you know when I find out more information.
English language learners and Mrs. Roy will create and maintain a safe environment to help students acquire critical language, knowledge about language and language skills.
