Reading: We encourage students to read 20 minutes every night. They can read aloud, to themselves, or with someone. This is a great time to talk to students about their reading.
Students will also have a one page reading assignment most nights. This supports what students are learning in class and is meant to be finished the same night and returned the next day.
Math: We will be practicing a flipped math classroom this year. Students will be required to watch a short video each night in preparation for the next days lesson. At the end of the video they will also be finishing one practice problem that they will bring to class with them the next day.
Technology: Students will use clever for most of their work. They will also be using EdPuzzle for their math videos.
