Math: Module 4 focuses on multiplication and division of fractions and mixed numbers. We are also studying the vocabulary and concepts of geometry.
Reading : Most students are reading an historical fiction book on the Revolutionary War. They are working in groups and are summarizing chapters. They will present the book to the class.
Writing: The students are writing a research based opinion piece on whether there should be zoos.
Science: We have read the first chapter on forms of energy. We will then do hands-on experiments on force and motion using cars.
Social Studies: We have been studying colonial life and the events that lead to the Revolutionary War. We are reading about the war and what it was like for people at that time.
Thursday, June 23: Last day of school! Report cards on line.

Math : Mod 5 lessons, one day on I-Ready
Writng: 2 weeks left to finish research based argumentative paper
Reading/social studies: Boston Tea Party response
Science: Forces and Motion Powerpoint
