The forecast had rain projected and today turned out to be beautiful. Glad they got it wrong. So I Got out in the yard and weeded a little bit. Definitely not one of my favorite activities.  Then I walked the dogs.  I am about to start my band work out.

I'm trying to get back into some type of strength and conditioning.  The bands work my muscles.  This is a simple, low-impact workout to gain moderate strength that anyone can do.

I am really excited because the governor is opening up golf and fishing tomorrow.  I hope to walk 18 holes a couple of times a week.  Come Thursday, it is supposed to be in the high 60s and maybe reach 70. I love the sun.  Get outside and enjoy.

Our family is still playing Spike ball a few times a week.  Well the talk is that PE is now moving away from enrichment into the essential learning realm.  I am guessing that means that students will have to turn in some type of activity log and I will give a  grade to those that comply.  We are waiting to hear from the district exactly how that is going to look.  Probably for us it will be the monthly calendars that are posted on this website.  You will need to do 20 of the 30 days.  If it is something different, I will let you know.  Until then, keep active and enjoy physical activity during this extraordinary time.

My office hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00-10:00am.  Today I got my first call from a student.  Mila Harris, Mr. Harris from our Cougar Club daughter zoomed me.  We talked about keeping busy during this time. I know it has been a bit boring at times so that why we want to encourage MOVEMENT of any kind.  I heard that trampolines are all sold out.  Still find something that will get you active.

I will be on line again on Wednesday if you want to zoom or email.  Take care my IVE family.
