Students will need to bring a snack and drink every day. Please do not send sugar-based treats, desserts, candy or chocolate. These items will be saved for home if sent to school. Examples of items to bring can include: Fruit, vegetables such as carrots, snap peas, cherry tomatoes, yogurt, pirate’s booty, goldfish, pretzels, cheese. This is an excellent time for our staff to work with students to try and practice smelling, licking and tasting new foods!
Welcome to the 2016-2017 School Year!
Please check in frequently as this website is updated often. More information will be posted soon!
Clothing for school: We play outside daily, so be sure your child has appropriate clothing/coat. Non-slippery shoes are best, for safety. If your child wears rain/snow boots, please send tennis shoes in their backpack. Please send an extra set of labeled clothes to keep at school in case of accidents or spills. Please label all clothing items, including their backpack and lunch bags.
If your child wears diapers/pull-ups, please send a supply of diapers/pull-ups and wipes (about 2 weeks). We will send a note home when more are needed.
Absences: If your child will be absent from school for any reason, you must notify the Attendance Secretary in the Issaquah Valley office at 837-6600 or email@example.com. If your child rides the bus, please inform transportation as well: 837-6333.
Parent Volunteers: We love having parents volunteer! If you are interested and able to volunteer. Most volunteers come in once a month. I will also need a “volunteer coordinator” to help with scheduling. If you are interested in this role, please let me know.
