Hi All,

I hope this BLOG Post finds you as safe as you can be this day.  Whether you are at home with your family monitoring safe hygiene practices, at work doing essential work for our community or caring for loved ones...we are ALL playing an essential role in this fight. We can all make a difference by staying away from others and slowing the spread of the virus.  This not only keeps us safe and healthy, but it also protects our health workers from being overwhelmed with sick people and risking themselves as this happens.

I will be using this BLOG to update you on the latest news out of the King County health department, resources for you and your family, and any updates I feel will be helpful for your family from the NURSE.  Please feel free to email me with any questions and I will try to point you in the right direction.

Today, I have a list of resources I want to be sure you have handy.  Please see those below. And the news of the day is to limit your activities outside of the home to those that are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL.  This includes food, gas, and medical appointments.  Please also DO NOT show up at the ER or your provider as they are asking that people CALL FIRST so that they can give you the best plan. Testing is NOT widespread today and is limited to those in the highest risk groups and those sick and presenting to the hospital. This may change in the coming days so that we know who to isolate in the effort to contain the spread.

Good news! We have expanded our free meal service to include additional locations throughout the District. Buses will deliver two free meals that may be picked up at the same time for students to eat at home. Students must be present to receive meals. The locations and times are listed below.
