Homework Help!

Successful students in French review material from class and study 10-30 minutes per day (appx 10 minutes per level). I suggest the following for students who need extra help:

  • Students are welcome to drop by room 1114 after school on Thursdays. Ms. Boschker is available during NHS peer tutoring to help students with French.
  • French club meets monthly. Peer tutoring is available.
  • Monday after school the counseling office offers homework help.
  • You may also check out the "wiki" (click on the Wiki tab in the menu bar) for games and online practice.

Things that can be done at home to help students keep up in class are:

* Ask your student to tell you and explain what was covered in class. Ask them to show you their carnet de notes.
* Quiz your student on vocab words from the vocab lists.
* Ask your student to show you what they are working on at
* Have your student explain meaning and forms of the verbs. You can refer to their verb chart.
* Encourage your student to make flashcards and other study devices.
